Susan Curran

In her role at Purple, Susan helps craft and execute winning communications strategies for companies, brands and public affairs clients in the face of big challenges and opportunities. Susan is a battle-tested communications professional who arrived at Purple with more than eight years of political communications experience. In her most recent role, Susan served as the Communications Director for the Select Committee on the Modernization of Congress where she managed their press shop and served as the primary spokeswoman for the Chair and Vice Chair of the Committee. Before that role, she served as a Press Secretary for Congressman Chris Pappas and as a Speechwriter for Congresswoman Cheri Bustos helping them defend frontline seats. Susan holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science & Communications from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
