Allen joined Purple in 2022 as a Campaign Manager. He has more than a decade and a half of experience designing and implementing integrated campaigns for a wide variety of corporate, political and non-profit clients. Allen has worked on key public policy issues including healthcare, financial services, energy and the environment, labor relations, economic justice, human rights, education, taxation and government regulation. Prior to joining Purple, Allen was the Senior Director of Public Affairs for Applecart, a data science company based in New York City. Previously, he served as Digital Director for DDC Public Affairs and as a member of the digital team for President Obama’s reelection campaign. Allen is a native of Washington, D.C. and holds a degree in Economics from Macalester College in Saint Paul, MN.
