“Purple is a special place to work because I’m able to work with some of the best and brightest of former political and PR operatives from both sides of the aisle and collectively, apply our unique perspectives and insights from having worked in politics and government to navigate the issues private entities face. It’s something you rarely find in other agencies.”
“Many people think paid media simply entails posting on social media and then pushing a button to make ads appear for a few dollars. In reality, my role in paid media is a combination of many skills, including understanding storytelling, identifying targeted audiences and what platforms are best suited to reach them on, building out budget estimates, and working through the many regulatory hurdles associated with advertising.”
“Working with younger advertisers first starting their careers has given me a sense of mentorship that I had never previously had prior to starting my own career. Teaching others the ins and outs of online advertising, seeing them apply their learnings to real client situations, then mentor other younger advertisers has been so rewarding. It makes me feel like I’m a part of something bigger than myself.”
