“In life, I’ve learned that we can never escape ourselves. Wherever we go, that is where we are. So, complete happiness is not promised by a job or a place. Complete happiness is found within.”
“I’ve long admired D.C. Crisis Manager Judy Smith. She’s someone who inspired me to always trust my gut and to take leaps of faith even when the outcome is uncertain.”
“The most influential quote I’ve ever read was by Audre Lorde. “When I dare to be powerful, to use my strength in the service of my vision, then it becomes less and less important whether I am afraid.”
