Nesrin is a paid media strategist with experience spanning state and federal election campaigns, advocacy organizations and corporate reputation efforts for Fortune 500 companies. She has built deep expertise in media strategy and execution at the intersection of politics, policy and brand trust. Prior to joining Purple, Nesrin worked at the U.S. Department of State, where she deepened her understanding of U.S. foreign policy priorities and the inner workings of the federal government. She holds a degree in Public Communication from American University. Nesrin lives in Washington, DC with her husband and two cats. A self-described serial hobby collector, her current interests include running, CrossFit, solving the New York Times Crossword, and knitting.
