About The Position 

This is a full-time position in Purple Strategies’ Paid and Audience Solutions Expertise Group. The Manager, Paid Media is responsible for applying their understanding of the evolving media landscape and using precision targeting to execute innovative, multi-channel paid media plans. The Paid Media Manager will work with a range of Purple campaign team members and our media planning & placement partners to help execute multi-channel paid media plans. They play a core function in the plan recommendation and execution to help our clients engage target stakeholder audiences across all modern channels.  

In This Position, You Will 

  • Support the channel planning process and execute strategic paid engagement plans with a particular emphasis on digital and social media opportunities.
  • Work with media buyers and paid media leads to prepare and present strategic paid media plans to clients.
  • Develop media reporting with optimization recommendations and strategic insights across platforms (including but not limited to search, social, display, programmatic, video, mobile, etc.).
  • Accountable for flawless execution of paid media campaigns, including ad trafficking.
  • Prepare new business proposals and budgets for new and existing clients.
  • Work with client teams to ensure our content takes best advantage of channels selected.
  • Understand audience profiles and identify paid tactics that best reach targetable segments.

 Qualifications and Experience You Need To Be Successful In This Role

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related professional, client-facing experience at brands and/or agencies.
  • Excellent time management skills and a strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple campaigns at a time.
  • Proficiency with top digital advertising self-service platforms including Google AdWords, Facebook Business Manager, Twitter Ads, Google Analytics.
  • Experience with media planning, placement, optimization and reporting tools.
  • Experience reaching niche or elite audiences through a range of paid media tactics including but not limited to premium publishers, social media, print, radio, high-impact placements and programmatic.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment activating and managing both quick-turn activations and long-term campaigns.

Work Location  

This is a full-time position based in either our Alexandria, VA headquarters or our Chicago office.  Purple Strategies offers a hybrid model and seeks employees who are comfortable working in the office for a portion of their workweek.
