Avery recently earned his degree in Communications from Brigham Young University, where he gained hands-on experience with campaigns in luxury construction, clean energy and homelessness. For his senior capstone, he partnered with Utah’s largest philanthropic consortium to develop a targeted media strategy addressing homelessness. He was selected for the Washington Media Scholars Foundation Winter 2025 cohort and was a finalist in the Summer 2025 case competition. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his wife and baby, long walks and bike rides, and serving aces on the tennis court.
