Omari started at Purple as a spring intern and then transitioned to a full-time role as a Creative, Content and Production Coordinator where she assists CCP with the efficient execution of client projects. Before joining Purple, she was a Digital Media Fellow at Washingtonian Magazine, where she acquired skills in website coding, search engine optimization and digital design. At Howard University, Omari participated in communication teams for several campus organizations. She notably co-founded a student-led magazine, which earned her an award for her contributions. Additionally, her articles were featured in publications such as The Hilltop, The Washington Blade and The Seattle Medium.
