Paul Laurie recently joined Purple as Director, Strategy & Engagement, bringing extensive experience in political strategy, public policy and communications. Before joining Purple, he served as Deputy Director of Country First Academy, where he led multi-state teams in recruiting and training candidates for office, managed strategic research and marketing initiatives, and developed education programs for prospective leaders. Paul also cultivated high-impact partnerships with elected officials, nonprofits, and grassroots organizations to strengthen civic participation nationwide. Earlier in his career, he spent five and a half years on Capitol Hill working for the Office of U.S. Congressman Adam Kinzinger, advancing from Staff Assistant to Policy Advisor, where he focused on domestic policy with an emphasis on health, energy and trade.
