Brad Dayspring is a senior communications strategist with more than two decades of experience helping leaders navigate through their highest-stakes moments. He stands out as one of the few strategists whose career spans the White House, Congressional Leadership, national campaigns, and the corporate media C-suite. He has appeared on a number of national news programs on Fox News, MSNBC, CNN, CBS, ABC and Bloomberg. Before joining Purple, Brad spent nearly a decade on POLITICO’s leadership team as Executive Vice President of Global Communications and Brand.
There, he advised multiple CEOs, editors-in-chief, and ownership groups, helping transform POLITICO into a global media leader while steering the organization through an acquisition, leadership transitions, and international expansion. He also served as trusted communications counsel to journalists and executives across Washington, New York, California, London, Brussels, Paris, and Berlin.
Earlier, Brad was a top aide on Capitol Hill, serving as Deputy Chief of Staff and Communications Director to House Majority Leader Eric Cantor. In that role, he helped shape communications and legislative strategy at the highest levels of Congress. He also served as Communications Director at the National Republican Senatorial Committee during the historic 2014 cycle, as well as for Financial Services Chair Jeb Hensarling and Rep. Chris Smith. His government service began in the White House as Deputy Director of Press Advance for President George W. Bush. He also later served as Director of Media Relations for the National Restaurant Association.
A proud New Jerseyan, Brad graduated from Villanova University, where he captained the ice hockey team. Away from work, he’s a die-hard Guns N’ Roses fan, having seen the band live more than 25 times.
