Shira serves as a campaign coordinator at Purple, providing support on brand and reputation campaigns for a number of the firm’s clients. Doing so requires her to wear many hats to keep the trains running on time with a variety of multi-faceted campaigns, many that include robust paid media components. She joined Purple after working as Deputy Events Director for the Republican National Committee where she planned and executed scores of political events and fund-raising efforts for the Party. Prior to this role, Shira interned within the finance division of the Republican National Committee, as well as at the Massachusetts Republican Party. She graduated magna cum laude in 2018 from The George Washington University, where she earned a B.A. in Political Science, in addition to being an Academic All-American intercollegiate sailor. In her free time, she still loves sailing.
“At Purple, I always find myself working with people with strengths, views and perspectives that run the gamut. Being part of this melting pot of curious, brilliant people makes me sharper and smarter every day.”
“Coming from a background in politics, I constantly found that the fast-paced environment demanded excellence. The same can be said at Purple. I’m constantly challenged to provide clients with my best work, delivered efficiently.”
“My job demands thinking on your toes to problem solve and working effectively on a team… all while taking the work seriously, not yourself.”
“I try to live by the motto, ‘No excuses, always play like a champion.”’
