Carrie Healey

Carrie joined Purple with over a decade of experience in strategic communications and journalism. At Purple, she assists in planning and executing detailed reputation management campaigns for Fortune 500 clients.  Before joining the firm, Carrie was senior director of communications at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce where she developed and led media relations and communications campaigns and managed crisis communications for the congressional affairs, political advocacy, employment policy, and immigration policy teams on behalf of the Chamber’s members. Carrie also served as communications director for Congressman Donald Norcross, and prior to her time on the Hill, she worked on Congressman John Delaney’s 2020 presidential campaign, serving as his deputy communications director and national press secretary. Prior to working in political communications, Carrie was a digital journalist in New York, working for several outlets, including NBC News, TheGrio, and AOL, and covering breaking news, politics, sports and finance. Carrie graduated from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania where she was an Academic All-American and NCAA D-II Statistical Champion as a member of the women’s field hockey and lacrosse teams. She holds a master’s degree in Communications Digital/Multimedia Journalism from Sacred Heart University.
