“In my role, the skill that I must cultivate every day is communication. The art of communication is fundamental to bringing value to Strategy & Engagement. Being proactive in communication with partners and clients is what keeps me on track and accountable for every item, and it’ s what builds that relationship and rapport that helps us stay on the same page with the client.”

“What intrigued me about Purple was the way it spoke to the lifelong learner in me. At Purple, the culture is a love of learning and consuming new information. The firm operates in a market space that does not reward the sterile, the complacent or the close-minded, and it shows through every member of the firm I’ve interacted with.”

“I’ve been a lifelong sci-fi fan, so many of the ideas that inspire me come from that world, including Star Wars, Warhammer 40k, and others. One line that has stayed with me comes from Frank Herbert’s Dune, ‘Fear is the mind-killer.’ In the book, it is part of a litany used to manage fear and anxiety. I think about it in the same way in my own life. Fear is something to acknowledge and process, but if you let it take hold, it can stifle creativity, curiosity and drive. It is a phrase I return to whenever I face a daunting situation and it has helped me stay grounded.”
